Home sale firm settles in Wangara
 A PRIVATE home sales company has made Wangara its headquarters.
Husband and wife team Shelley Besel Knott and Anthony Knott migrated to WA from Canada nearly three years ago and brought with them the Australian franchise rights to ComFree Private Sales.
They started it as a home-based business in Heathridge and since then have sold more than 550 homes, set up licensee offices in Inglewood-Mt Lawley and Kalgoorlie-Boulder and a sub-franchise in Sydney. At Wangara, they employ three full-time staff and a part-time officer.
For a fee, ComFree photographs the house for sale, writes it up for its sales magazine and website, and provides signage and marketing material, including newspaper advertising. The sale is done through a settlement agent.
"It takes the stress out of selling," Mrs Besel Knott said. "We provide 24-hour assistance, they can ring us any time."
She also described the business as a training and marketing company. We provide people with the tools to sell their home privately," she said. |
